UML sends letters to four leaders including Nepal for clarification



KATHMANDU: Ruling CPN-UML has sent letters to four leaders including Madhav Kumar Nepal of Nepal-Khanal faction for clarifications from them.

According to UML sources, letters have been sent to the leaders to this effect.

It is learned that personal secretaries received the letters on behalf of Madhav Nepal and Surendra Pandey sent by the party office.

Meanwhile, leader Bhim Rawal denied receiving the letter.  According to a UML leader, the staff of the central party office who went to Rawal’s house to deliver the letters returned home after dropping it into the letter box, after the latter did not receive the letter.

Signed by General Secretary Ishwar Pokharel, the clarifications have been sought from them for creating factionalism in the party and forming parallel committees.
