Teacher arrested for raping Grade 2 student



DADELDHURA: Police have arrested a teacher on charge of raping a minor in Dadeldhura.

A 47-year-old teacher of Bhubaneswari Secondary School of Ganyapadhura Village Municipality-4 has been arrested by the police on the charge of raping a 10-year-old girl.

The school had lodged a complaint with the police alleging that the girl was raped in the class.

Mahendra Nepal, Deputy Superintendent of Police at the District Police Office, Dadeldhura, said that medical tests have been carried out on both the girl and the teacher.

He said that legal process will be taken forward on the basis of medical report.
