COVID-19 vaccination to start on Jan 27: PM Oli

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Oli has said that vaccination against COVID-19 will start from January 27.

Addressing a program organized here today on the occasion of the 20th founding day of the Armed Police Force (APF), he said that the campaign to defeat the coronavirus has already started in the country and has reached the ‘turning point’ of control.

PM Oli said that COVID-19 frontline workers will be inoculated in the first phase.

Prime Minister Oli urged everyone to be careful for a few more months as not enough vaccines have been received.

Praising the role played by the APF in disaster management and crisis including peace, security, and tranquility, Prime Minister Oli urged them to move forward with timely modifications.
