KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) central office’s chief secretary Krishna Prasad Poudel has been bereaved of his mother. Poudel’s mother Khum Kumari Poudel died while receiving treatment in Green City Hospital in the capital city on Sunday. She was 82.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister and Nepali Congress President Sher Bahadur Deuba expressed sorrow towards the demise of Khum Kumari. Issuing a press statement today, Deuba has expressed his condolences to the bereaved family members on behalf of his own and the Nepali Congress party.
The NC said that demise was an irreparable loss.
