Police raid drug dealer in Dang



DANG: Dang Police have raided a brown sugar dealer in Tulsipur of Dang district.

According to the police DSP Shamu Aryal, the chief of Area Police Office, Tulsipur, more than 20 grams of brown sugar was recovered from the house of Sushila Shrestha at Tulsipur-5.

Police have arrested alleged Sushila and her son Rohan Shrestha in connection with the incident.

Police also recovered a digital scale used to weigh brown sugar from them.

Police claim that both mother and son were involved in brown sugar trade and Sushila’s husband Basanta Shrestha is a professional drug dealer.

Police investigation has shown that Basanta brought brown sugar from India whereas his wife and son sold it in domestic market.
