The weather will improve from today and no heavy rains are expected immediately, said Meteorological Forecasting Division (MFD).
It stopped raining in most parts of the country since Wednesday night, said Barun Paudel, a meteorologist.

“The weather system that caused heavy rains now has subsided and no heavy rains are likely immediately. However, sporadic rains may be occurring,” said Paudel.

The weather will improve gradually from today with sunshine in most parts of the country, he said.

The rain compounded with thunderstorms is expected in a few places of Pradesh 1, Bagmati and Gandaki Pradesh and in one or two places the rest of the provinces today.
