UML Chair Oli says students should raise voices for country, people

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML Chairperson KP Oli has said that the student organizations should aware the citizens and strongly protest if there was anything against the Constitution and democracy.

Addressing the party’s student wing’s program in the Capital Tuesday, the UML chair asked students to continuously raise voices for the cause of country and people. “Work to fulfill the people’s expectations of prosperity and justice. You are the unexceptionally conscious group. Your every thought could inspire and illuminate others,” the former PM said.

On the occasion, he said that the UML would move ahead in defense of rule of law and democracy, and the party was ready for legal and other battles to make this happen. He vented ire on the incumbent government for bringing budget just to benefit a handful of businesses.

During the event, President of All Nepal National Free Students Union Ain Mahar handed over the post of chair to newly elected President Sunita Baral.
