Probe on SEBON chairman Dhungana concludes

KATHMANDU: A committee formed to probe the allegations against Securities Board of Nepal (SEBON) Chairman Bhishma Raj Dhungana has completed its investigation.

The committee submitted its investigation report to government on Tuesday.

Former High Court Judge Ananta Raj Dumre handed over the investigation report to Finance Minister Janardan Sharma at a program organized at the Ministry of Finance.

The Council of Ministers had formed a probe committee to investigate on the allegation that SEBON Chair Dhungana acted against his post by sharing confidential information and abusing power and had asked the committee to submit report within 15 days.

Dumre-led committee submitted the report within the stipulated time.

Receiving the report, Finance Minister Sharma said that the government would take necessary decision after going through the investigation report.
