Maoist Center to select all level leadership via election

KATHMANDU: The CPN-Maoist Center has formulated a procedure to select the leadership of all the committees from the ward to the center via election in the respective levels.

The Maoist Center currently has ward, district, province and federal constituencies and central level committees. All the leaders of these committees have to be elected now.

“As per the new procedure provisioned in the party statute, the leadership will now be selected through elections in 285,000 posts from the ward to the center,” said Barshaman Pun, central office in-charge and standing committee member of the party.

The party Chairperson and the officials will also be elected.

The Maoist Center has already decided to hold a national conference from December 26 to 28.
