Nine districts of Province-1 free from COVID-19



BIRATNAGAR: Coronavirus cases were not recorded in nine districts of province-1 in the last 24 hours.

The Ministry of Social Development shared the information that there was no case of coronavirus in Udayapur, Bhojpur, Tehrathum, Sankhuwasabha, Okhaldhunga, Khotang, Solukhumbu, Taplejung and Panchthar.

However, in the same period, 215 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in other districts. It was found after 171 PCR tests and 200 antigens. The districts to have coronavirus are Jhapa (94), Sunsari (38), Morang (33), Ilam (2), Dhankuta (1) and 3 others from outside the province.

Similarly, a total of 278 persons got rid of COVID-19. Among them, 136 are women and 142 men. Three persons succumbed to COVID-19 in the province in the last 24 hours.
