Nepal records 2,075 new COVID-19 cases, 30 deaths in last 24 hours

667 new cases in Kathmandu Valley

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded a total of 2,075 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, out of the 7,703 people who underwent tests through the RT-PCR method, 1,424 persons tested positive for COVID-19 while of the 5,372 Antigen tests, 651 tested positive.

According to the Ministry, 30 people have succumbed to COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

Meanwhile, 2,382 persons have returned home after a complete health recovery from COVID-19.

Similarly, there were 667 new cases in Kathmandu Valley in the past 24 hours: Kathmandu 483 cases, Lalitpur 103 and Bhaktapur 81 cases.
