Three held with 4 kg hashish in Kanchanpur



KANCHANPUR: Three people have been arrested with 4.49 kilograms of hashish in Kanchanpur district.

Acting on a tip-off, a joint police squad from District Police Office, Kanchanpur and Regional Investigation Team of Nepal Police under Sudurpaschchim Pradesh arrested Kishor Singh, 21, of Dhangadhi Sub Metropolitan-7, Kailali, Ganesh Bhandari, 36, of Krishnapur municipality-2, and Jhanak Jagri, 32, of Chhabis Pathibhara rural municipality-5, Bajhang.

They were arrested with the narcotic drugs from Pragati Tole of Krishnapur municipality-2, on Friday evening.

Police said they are investigating the case after taking the trio under control.
