Israeli ambassador meets Minister Thapa



KATHMANDU: Ambassador of Israel to Nepal, Hanan Goder-Goldberger paid a courtesy call on Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Nainakala Thapa, at the Ministry in Singha Durbar today.

The meeting was centered on Nepal-Israel relations, mutual interest, and topics of collaboration.

On the occasion, Minister Thapa, through the Israeli ambassador, extended congratulations to the newly-elected Prime Minister of Israel, Naftali Bennett, and wished him a successful term.

She also expressed her confidence that the bilateral relations between the two countries would reach a new height during Bennett’s tenure.

Minister Thapa thanked Israel for the support it has been providing Nepal in various sectors and also hoped that this support and collaboration would be continued in the coming days as well.

Ambassador Goder congratulated Minister Thapa on assuming new responsibility and wished her a successful term. He informed Minister Thapa that Israel was willing to cooperate and collaborate in the information, communications, and technology sector of Nepal.

Recalling that Nepal-Israel ties have completed 60 years, he expressed the belief that this relation will be further strengthened in the coming days.
