NEPSE decreases by 71.06 points



KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange Ltd (NEPSE) has decreased by 71.06 points on Monday, the second trading day of the week.

With today’s decline, the index has come down to 2834.40 points.

A total of 22.52 million shares of 227 companies were traded resulting in a turnover of Rs 11.61 billion today. The index of all the groups listed today has declined.

The index for the finance and hydropower group declined by 5.20 percent. Today, investors of Narayani Development Bank have earned the most. Its share price has risen 9.97 percent.

Similarly, the share price of Hydroelectricity Investment and Development Company Limited has increased by 4.33. Shares of only 17 companies increased on Monday.

Likewise, the share price of Pokhara Finance Limited has declined by 9.26 percent and that of Universal Power Company Limited by 9.12 percent.
