Two including NC Dhankuta secretary die in tipper-bike collision in Morang



BIRATNAGAR:  Two persons including Nepali Congress Dhankuta  district Secretary Krishna Thapa died in a tipper-bike collision at Biratchowk, Morang.

According to District Police Office Morang, Krishna Bahadur Thapa, 50, of Pakhribas, Dhankuta and Dipu Sah, 35, of Itahari Sub-Metropolis-4, Sunsari died at the accident that took place at Biratchowk at around 7.40 PM on Sunday.

Deceased Thapa is the district secretary of NC Dhankuta while Sah is an employee of NMB Bank’s branch office in Belbari.

Thapa’s brother Bhim Bahadur Thapa, 27, seriously injured in the accident is undergoing treatment at Birat Nursing Home in Biratnagar.

Both Thapa and Sah died while undergoing treatment at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan on Sunday night.
