58-yr-old man buried to death in Panchthar



PHIDIM: A person has died after being buried by a landslide at Yangwarak rural municipality-2 in Panchthar district.

The deceased has been identified as 58-year-old Tek Raj Dyaurali, said ward chairman Deu Kuamar Yonghang.

Dyaurali had been buried by the landslide coming down from above while he was cleaning a canal stretching from Nuwakhola located in Yangwarak-2.

“Four people had gone to clean the irrigation canal. Dyaurali was buried to death,” said Yonghang.

Khadga Prasad Rai has sustained injuries in the incident.
