Pathao, Tootle to resume services from tomorrow

KATHMANDU: Ride-sharing companies – Pathao and Tootle – are resuming their services from Tuesday.

Stalled for the last two months due to the prohibitory order, Pathao and Tootle have decided to bring ride sharing services as per the odd-even rule issued by the government.

Chief District Officers (CDOs) of Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur had decided to allow transport services including Tootle and Pathao to operate under odd-even rule in the Kathmandu Valley.

Tootle and Pathao services will come into operation with the government’s decision to allow operations vehicular services, said Suraksha Hamal, the marketing manager of Pathao company.

Hamal added that Pathao will resume ride-sharing services by adopting health protocols introduced by the government.

Similarly, Tootle services will also come into operations, said the company.
