NC supports Basundhara hospital with 10 oxygen concentrators

KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress (NC) has provided 10 oxygen concentrators to Mahendra Narayan Nidhi Memorial Hospital in Basundhara of Kathmandu Constituency 5.

NC Joint General Secretary Prakash Sharan Mahat handed over the medical supplies to the hospital Friday.

The hospital will not charge patients for use of oxygen concentrators as per an agreement between the NC and hospital administration. Similarly, the hospital will also provide 10 beds to residents of Kathmandu Constituency 5.

At the medical supplies handover event, Mahat expressed confidence that the coronavirus patients would not have to suffer due to lack of oxygen. The hospital will also return the equipment to Kathmandu Constituency 5 after the coronavirus epidemic is fully contained.
