UML leaders’ signatures misused to make NC President Deuba PM: Pandey

KATHMANDU: CPN-UML leader Surendra Pandey, who is close to Madhav Nepal faction, has said that the signatures of 27 UML lawmakers have been misused to make Sher Bahadur Deuba the Prime Minister.

Pandey said that he had suggested his party leaders not to go down that path of supporting other party candidates as PM. He said he did not sign on Friday to support the opposition.

He said maybe old signatures were used to stake claim for government Friday.
