Kathmandu Valley sees 1,051 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: As many as 1, 051 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry, 786 persons in Kathmandu, 181 in Lalitpur, and 84 in Bhaktapur have been tested positive for the pandemic virus, as of Wednesday afternoon.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded a total of  2,351 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 2,220 persons have been tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 131 have been tested positive through the Antigen method.

Meanwhile, 287 persons have returned home after complete health recovery today.
