NC appoints Yadav as coordinator of central election committee



KATHMANDU: The office bearers meeting of the Nepali Congress (NC) held early Wednesday at party President Sher Bahadur Deuba’s residence in Budhanilkatha has appointed coordinator for the central election committee.

The meeting recommended and approved Advocate Mahadev Prasad Yadav as coordinator of central election committee of the party.

Of late, the post of coordinator fell vacant after National Assembly member Radheshyam Adhikari had tendered his resignation from the post.

Adhikari’s resignation had been approved by NC Central Working Committee (CWC).

The NC is holding its 14th general convention from coming August 23 to 26 in Kathmandu. Prior to this conventions will be held at the municipality, district and provincial level.
