UML General Secy Pokharel holds videoconference with Nepali diaspora



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML General Secretary and Deputy Prime Minister Ishwar Pokharel has addressed a virtual conference of party-affiliated Nepali diaspora community Sunday evening.

Apprising the diaspora community about the dynamic landscape of Nepali politics and recent developments in the party, he expressed confidence that the communist movement would gain momentum despite obstacles being created on the way.

Touching upon the past struggles, challenges, and lessons learned in course of the movement, he sought the support of the leaders and cadres of the diaspora community to unitedly move forward with new zeal and commitment.

As many as 266 Nepalis living abroad attended the virtual conference.
