Father arrested for abducting son in Dhanusha



DHANUSHA: A father has been arrested in Dhanusha for kidnapping his own son and demanding ransom.

Police nabbed Ramesh Sha of Nagarain Municipality-6 on the charge of abducting his 6-year-old son Chandan and demanding Rs 10 million in ransom.

A police team led by Inspector Uma Shankar Sha of the Province Police Office rescued the abducted boy on Saturday evening, said DIG Dhiraj Pratap Singh.

Police said that the boy’s maternal uncle was also involved in the abduction. DIG Singh said that the police had taken him under control.
