MFD forecasts mainly fair weather for today



KATHMANDU: The Metrological Forecasting Division (MFD) has predicted mainly fair weather in major parts of the country.

In a weather bulletin issued for Sunday, the met office said that it would be partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Province 1 and mainly fair in the rest of the country.

At night, it will be partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Province 1 and mainly fair in the rest of the country.

Meteorologist Barun Poudel said the weather will continue to be affected by the gradual increase in temperature for some days while remaining fair on some days.

“The weather will be fair with sunny days throughout the country in the next three days,” he said.

Cloudy weather with light rainfall was experienced towards the afternoon and evening for the last few days.

According to meteorologists, the change in the weather towards the afternoon and evening is due to the nearing pre-monsoon period. The weather is predicted to be fair in the next three days.
