COVID-19: Nepal’s death toll reaches 1,979 with four new fatalities

KATHMANDU: As many as four COVID-19 patients succumbed to the pandemic in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the new deaths have taken the country’s death toll from the coronavirus to 1,979 as of Thursday afternoon.

Likewise, the country recorded a total of 336 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 268,646 in the country as of Thursday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that now the country has 3,799 reported active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, altogether 226 infected people got recovery from the virus infection. So far, 262,868 people recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

Similarly, four persons succumbed to the virus across the country in the past 24 hours, hitting the total COVID-19 related deaths to 1,979.
