UK reports 1,820 COVID-19 deaths in past 24 hrs



LONDON: The number of COVID-19 cases has reached 3,505,754 in the United Kingdom (UK) after 38,905 new cases were reported in the country.

Currently, 1,840,945 are undergoing treatment at various hospitals and isolation wards across the country while 1,571,519 have recovered from the pandemic.

Similarly, the death toll linked with the coronavirus has reached 93,290 with 1,820 new deaths so far in the country, according to the latest figures collated by Worldometer.

Broke out in Wuhan City of China in December 2019, the coronavirus has killed 2,081,264 and infected 97,269,544 globally until the filing of this news.
