Moderna vaccine being administered to 12-17 year olds in Lumbini from today



KATHMANDU: Moderna vaccine is being administered to children in nine districts of Lumbini Province from today.

The vaccine will be administered to the children aged between 12 to 17 years in Rukum East, Rolpa, Pyuthan, Gulmi, Arghakhanchi, Palpa, Nawalparasi West, Kapilvastu and Bardiya in the province.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the vaccination campaign will last until December 29.

Currently, the second dose of Pfizer is being administered to the children above 12 years of age and those suffering from chronic diseases.
