NC lawmaker Thapa elected to International Network of MPs



KATHMANDU: Member of Parliament Gagan Kumar Thapa has been elected board member of the Parliamentary Network on the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund for 2021 to 2023.

As a board member, MP Thapa will work with parliamentarians from more than 140 countries for inclusive development. Sharing the news, Thapa said he would use the opportunity to learn, expand relationships and contribute as much as possible.

Thapa said he was “excited” by the news that he had been elected to the forefront of the international network of parliamentarians. Elected as a member of the House of Representatives from Kathmandu Constituency No. 4, Thapa is affiliated to the ruling Nepali Congress party.
