13 held for butchering ox in Rolpa

ROLPA: Rolpa Police has arrested 13 people on charge of butchering an ox in the district.

Acting on a tip-off, a team of police deployed from Area Police Office, Haleri rounded up 13 people including Akash Gharti Magar, 20, on Tuesday.

Police caught them red-handed along with 80 kilograms of an ox’s meat.

Police said they are investigating the case.
