Unified Socialist forms working committees in 55 districts



KATHMANDU: The newly formed CPN-Unified Socialist party has formed working committees in 55 districts.

According to sources, Unified Socialist party formed about a month ago under the chairmanship of former Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal has been conducting various political programs including rallies to expand its organization across the country

Jagannath Khatiwada, head of the party’s publicity department, said that the party would launch a campaign at the national level to conduct necessary political activities for the formation, reorganization, expansion and consolidation of various departments, people’s organizations and related commissions and would form committees in remaining 22 districts in a short time.

He said that the party would distribute membership for the expansion of the organization.

“Membership forms to be distributed for the expansion of the party’s organization have been made available online, the old membership will be maintained for the leaders who want to join the party,” Khatiwada told Khabarhub, adding, “The party will change the departments of some leaders and assign new responsibilities.”
