Landslide damages two dozen houses in Butwal



BUTWAL: A landslide damaged two dozen houses in Jyotinagar and Laxminagar areas of Butwal Monday.

This is the second landslide that hit the district this week.

According to the Area Police Office, about two dozen houses in Butwal, Jyotinagar and Laxminagar areas have been damaged due to the landslide.

Locals were outraged that the government did not consider it worth inspecting the affected areas and act.

Meanwhile, outraged locals also attacked Butwal sub-metropolitan Mayor Shivaraj Subedi on Monday morning when he was there to take stock of the situation.
