High-level committee for NRNA’s 10th World Conference

KATHMANDU: A 20-member high-level committee has been formed to successfully organize the 10th World Conference of the Non-Resident Nepalis’ Association (NRNA) to be held October 23-25 this year.

The committee chaired by the Minister for Foreign Affairs comprises members from the National Planning Commission, Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Secretary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and secretaries of various ministries.

Furthermore, high-level officials from the Investment Board Nepal, Nepal Rastra Bank, FNCCI, Confederation of Nepali Industries, Nepal Chamber of Commerce and NRNA among others are also in the committee which will do the needful to hold the event in a coordinated manner.

The government has been extending its support to the NRNA’s bi-annual event through high-level committee since the government has accorded high priority to the policy to utilize the skills, knowledge, capital, networking and access of NRNA for the socio-economic development of Nepal.
