Two arrested with fake Nepali currency notes



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested two persons with fake Nepali currency notes.

Police arrested two persons with 16 counterfeit Nepali currency notes with denomination of Rs 100 from a petrol pump in Dewanganj Rural Municipality-2 of Sunsari district on Friday morning. The arrested are Nabal Kishor Pal, 40, and Suman Pal, 32, of India.

Area Police Office, Dewanganj, arrested them with fake currency notes while conducting a security check of a motorcycle (BR 50 S 8406) they were riding.

Police are further investigating the case.
