UML leaders, including Rawal busy in internal discussions



KATHMANDU: Second-tier leaders of the CPN-UML have engaged in internal discussions to chart out their future move.

Leaders including Rawal, Ghanshyam Bhusal, Yogesh Bhattarai, Surendra Pandey and Gokarna Bista, who did not join Madhav Kumar Nepal in the formation of a new party, have remained busy in discussions, sources said.

Likewise, Raghuji Pant, Yagya Raj Sunuwar, Deepak Prakash Bhatt and Jhapat Rawal are also present at the meeting, said a leader.

Although these leaders were initially supporting Madhav Kumar Nepal, they left his camp emphasizing party unity.
