Prime Minister Deuba talks to ailing UML leader Khanal over phone while in Khumaltar



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has held telephone conversation with ailing UML leader Jhala Nath Khanal while the former was at Maoist Center’s Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ residence in Khumaltar Tuesday.

PM Deuba reached Khumaltar to take stock of the health condition of Prachanda’s ailing wife Sita and wished for her recovery.

UML leader Khanal telephoned Prachanda from Indian capital New Delhi, where he is undergoing treatment, while Deuba was at Prachanda’s residence. During the call, Prachanda informed Khanal that PM Deuba too was with him.

Thereafter, PM Deuba spoke to leader Khanal. He told Khanal that his treatment expense would be borne by the government.

PM Deuba and Prachanda both wished for Khanal’s speedy recovery as well.
