KATHMANDU: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has decreased by 9.01 points on Tuesday.
With today’s decline, the index has come down to 2985.57 points.
A total of 31.60 million shares of 219 companies traded today resulting in a turnover of Rs 7.89 billion.
Likewise, trade group increased by 126 points, hotels and tourism by 60 points, hydropower by 35 points, and manufacturing by 14 points.
Similarly, the Banking group declined by 0.74 points, development banks by 38 points, finance by 32 points, non-life insurance by 188 points, others by 26 points, microfinance by 27 points, and life insurance group by 126 points.
Investors in hydropower have earned significant value today. Of the five companies whose prices have increased the most, four are hydropower companies.
The price of Mountain Hydro Nepal has increased the most by 9 percent. Similarly, prices of Barun Hydro rose by 7.7 percent, CEDB Hydro by 7.4 percent, and Arun Valley Hydro by 6.6 percent.
