CPN-UML CC meeting taking place today

Likely to take action against UML lawmakers for floor-crossing



KATHMANDU: The Central Committee (CC) meeting of the CPN-UML which started on Monday is taking place even today.

The CC meeting is taking place at Tulsi Lal Memorial Foundation in Chyasal, Lalitpur at 3 pm.

The CC meeting held on Monday had decided to seek a 24-hour clarification from those lawmakers who voted for Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

According to sources, today’s CC meeting is likely to take actions against them.

However, the lawmakers have not furnished their clarifications so far. They have said that they won’t furnish clarifications saying that this clarification has no relevance.

The Supreme Court has ruled that the no party can take actions against those who gave the vote of confidence to Prime Minister Deuba.
