91-year-old Birgunj Deputy Mayor recovers from coronavirus

BIRGUNJ: Deputy Chief of Birgunj Sub-Metropolis, Shanti Karki, 91, has recovered from COVID-19.

She has returned home from the hospital recovering from coronavirus disapproving the belief that an elderly person cannot overcome COVID-19.

Unmarried Karki lives in her relative’s house as she does not have her own home.
