PM Oli and British Ambassador Pollitt hold meeting



KATHMANDU: Ambassador of the United Kingdom (UK) to Nepal Nicola Pollitt has met with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Thursday.

Held at the Office of the Prime Minister in Singha Durbar today, British Ambassador Pollitt and Prime Minister Oli dwelled on the bilateral relations between the two nations in the meeting, said Prime Minister’s Press Advisor Surya Thapa.

The meeting also touched upon the mutual cooperation between the two countries to fight against COVID-19.

Thanking the UK for its unyielding assistance to Nepal in various fields, Prime Minister Oli urged the country to make AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines available for the Himalayan nation.
