Ministry warns of action against arbitrary air ticketing



KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Culture, Tourism, and Civil Aviation has stated that action would be taken against the airline companies if they were found involved in irregularities in air ticketing.

The Ministry has urged all to submit such a report with evidence through email at [email protected] and [email protected].

The Ministry has suspended domestic and international flights from 6 May to 31 May in view of containing COVID-19 spread.

The Ministry has further mentioned that two flights in a week are in operation from and to Kathmandu and New Delhi, India following the health safety protocol.

The Ministry has granted permission to rescue flights from Nepal to abroad if the concerned embassies requested to the Ministry in case of their citizens were stuck in Nepal.

The chartered flights could be managed for diplomatic purposes, rescuing the stranded tourists among other important purposes.
