Kathmandu Valley sees 690 fresh COVID-19 cases

KATHMANDU: As many as 690 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, there have been 550 cases in Kathmandu, 105 in Lalitpur, and 35 in Bhaktapur in the past 24  hours.

Meanwhile, Nepal recorded a total of 1,736 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 1,667 persons have been tested positive for COVID-19 through the RT-PCR method while 69 have been tested positive through the Antigen method.

Meanwhile, 251 persons have returned home after complete health recovery today.

Similarly, the ministry shared that 11 more fatalities were reported in the last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 3,102.
