FMTC gets new CEO



KATHMANDU: Food Management and Trading Company run by the government has got new chief executive officer after around four years.

Mohan Prakash Chand has been appointed as CEO of the company from open competition. A cabinet meeting held on April 5 appointed Chand to the post for four years.

The Director-General of the Department of Commerce, Supplies and Consumer Welfare Protection had been taking the responsibility of CEO of the Company after the termination of the tenure of Dr Shivahari Shrestha.

Chand of Kailali district is a retired employee of the then Food Corporation.
