UML’s Nepal-Khanal faction to observe CPN founding day



KATHMANDU: CPN-UML’s disgruntled Nepal-Khanal faction is going to celebrate the founding day of the Communist Party of Nepal (CPN) on April 22.

According to sources, the program is meant to rejuvenate the communist spirit in the party cadres already in dilemma due to the ongoing conflict in the party.

The group is scheduled to celebrate the 72nd founding day of the CPN on April 22. The program is called for Thursday at 12:30 pm at Pragya Pratisthan, Kamaladi, Kathmandu.

Senior leaders including former Prime Ministers duo Madhav Kumar Nepal, Jhala Nath Khanal are scheduled to address the program.

Considering the pandemic spread due to the gathering, the organizers have asked all participants to use masks mandatorily.
