IPL 2021: Chennai beats Rajasthan by 45 runs



KATHMANDU: Chennai Super Kings has defeated Rajasthan Royals by 45 runs in an Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 cricket tournament.

Held in Mumbai on Monday, Rajasthan achieved only 143 runs while chasing the 189-run target set by Chennai, losing nine wickets in the allotted 20 overs.

Chennai’s Faf Du Plessis made the highest 33 runs.

Similarly, Ambati Rayudu secured 27 runs while Moeen Ali scored 20 runs and remained unbeaten.

This is the second win by Chennai. With this win, Chennai has reached the second position in the points table with four points from three matches.
