CPN-UML CC meet underway in Baluwatar



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Central Committee (CC) of the CPN-UML has begun at the Prime Minister’s official residence in Baluwatar.

The Madhav Kumar Nepal and Jhala Nath Khanal faction of the party is abstaining from the CC meeting.

The faction had declared Friday that they would boycott the meeting.

Likewise, leader Bam Dev Gautam is also absent in the meeting.

Gautam had attended the Parliamentary Party (PP) meeting held earlier today in Baluwatar. He had left after attending the PP meeting.

According to sources, leader Gautam was not feeling well.

The CC meeting that is underway will endorse the proposal to amend PP statute.
