Dr. KC warns of dethroning PM Oli as ‘His Majesty’

KATHMANDU: Social campaigner and senior medical practitioner, Dr. Govinda KC has warned of  launching yet another round of ‘Satyagraha’ (fast-unto-death) from February 24 provided his demands were not addressed by then and warned that Prime Minister KP Oli would be dethroned if did not give up his ‘His Majesty’ like attitude.

Dr. KC  who had been protesting the dissolution of House of Representatives (HoR) has given the ultimatum of starting the peaceful Satyagraha if his demands were not fulfilled by February 23.

“PM Oli  is not only corrupt, but is irresponsible, unaccountable and dictatorial, and he has failed to identify the priorities” Dr. KC said referring to PM Oli’s latest decisions.

He further said that PM Oli’s leadership will be dangerous for the country’s security as the PM is going through chronic diseases and the drugs he is using can have unwanted effects.

A social worker since long, Dr. KC also demanded that the dissolution of the House of Representatives should be reinstated as it was illegal, the appointment in the constitutional body should be invalidated and the agreement made between him and the government for the improvement of health education should be addressed.
