BIRATNAGAR: Prime Minister KP Oli has alleged Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda” for heading towards extinction.

Asking Prachanda to come back and join the faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP) led by him, PM Oli said, “You have still some time to come back and join us.”

In a tone of sarcasm, PM Oli said, “I feel pity for Prachanda as all his close aides including Baidya and doctor have already left him. Now, Jhankri (Ram Kumari) has joined him.”

Speaking at a mass rally in Biratnagar organized by the Nepal Communist Party on Friday, he stated that the government has been moving ahead on the path of good governance and development. “It would not deviate from its commitment to stability, good governance and prosperity,” he added.

Alleging the Prachanda-Nepal faction for obstructing the appointments at the Constitutional Bodies, PM Oli said, “They (Prachanda-Nepal), however, tried to create an obstruction in the government’s works. They even imposed a Nepal bandh against landless people, squatters, minorities and backward communities.”

Prime Minister Oli also said Prachanda has chosen the path that shall erode his strength.

Maintaining that the country is heading towards stability and development, PM Oli said several leaders, who had joined the dissident faction, have started coming back to the party.

“I have heard that the Prachanda-Nepal faction collected fake signatures by coercing the party leaders,” he said while urging them to come back to the party by withdrawing the signatures.

“People have chosen you (lawmakers) to unite, not deviate from the path of stability and development,” he added labeling the Prachanda and Madhav Kumar Nepal as mere puppets of some forces. “Stop dancing to the tunes of these puppets,” PM Oli said.

Stating that development works have gained momentum after the Prachanda-Nepal faction left the party, PM Oli added that the Prachanda-Nepal faction was still trying to bring about division in the NCP.

Referring to development works carried out by the government, PM Oli said that the Kimathanka trade point was about to be complete soon while the Olangchungola point will also be initiated in the near future.

PM Oli further claimed that he laid the foundation stone for the construction of 309 hospitals, a record-making development activity that no other country has done so far.

“We are heading towards brightness with alternative energy,” he added.
