Kathmandu Valley sees 54 fresh COVID-19 cases



KATHMANDU: As many as 54 persons have been infected with COVID-19 in the Kathmandu Valley in the last 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 47 cases have been confirmed in Kathmandu, 4 in Bhaktapur, and 3 in Lalitpur.

Meanwhile,  Nepal recorded a total of 88 new cases of coronavirus infection in the past 24 hours.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, the coronavirus tally reached 2,73,351 in the country as of Wednesday afternoon.

Likewise, the Ministry shared that the country has currently 1,535 active cases of the virus.

In the past 24 hours, 136 people have recovered from the coronavirus infection in the country.

So far, 2,69,755 people recovered from the coronavirus infection.

Similarly, no additional deaths connected to COVID-19 over the last 24 hours, keeping the country’s death toll to 2,061.
