Prachanda-Nepal faction trying to capture state power: Province 1 Chief Minister Rai

BIRATNAGAR: Chief Minister of Province 1 Sherdhan Rai has come down heavily on what he said “Prachanda-Nepal-Khanal Limited” for trying to create political instability in the country.

“The faction headquartered at Khumaltar of Kathmandu has been making all efforts to capture the state power by ousting Prime Minister KP Oli,” Chief Minister Rai said at a mass meeting held in Biratnagar on Saturday.

Stating that the country has already headed toward election, CM Rai said all political parties have started preparations to take part in the elections.

“I am sure even the Prachanda-Nepal faction is also preparing to register a new political party with a new election symbol at the Election Commission to take part in the election,” he added.

He said it is high time that people voted for Prime Minister KP Oli to ensure stability, prosperity and development.

“There were efforts to drag the country toward instability. PM Oli, therefore, took a historic decision to announce fresh election for the sake of political stability and prosperity,” he added.
