Fair weather forecast for some days



KATHMANDU: The weather will be fair in most parts of the country in the next three days.

Meteorologist Barun Poudel said the weather will continue to be affected by the gradual increase in temperature
for some days while remaining fair on some days.

“The weather will be fair with sunny days throughout the country in the next three days,” he said.

Cloudy weather with light rainfall was experienced towards the afternoon and evening for the last few days.

According to meteorologists, the change in the weather towards the afternoon and evening is due to the nearing pre-monsoon period. The weather is predicted to be fair in the next three days.

The weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly region of Province no 1, Bagmati province, and Gandaki province while fair in the rest of the country towards the afternoon, the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology said.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division stated in its weather update that the minimum temperature in Kathmandu Valley was 5.3 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature was 22.7 degrees Celsius in the last 24 hours.

Similarly, Jumla recorded the lowest minimum temperature of minus 2.0 degrees Celsius throughout the country in the last 24 hours.

Weather on Sunday

On Sunday, the weather will be partly cloudy in the hilly region and fair in the rest of the country on Sunday.
